...Marriage, the latest thing to do...
Seems like everyone is getting married! Interesting how life works..
- When you are 12 - 21, your friends call to invite you to their birthday parties.
- When you are 21 - 24, your friends call to invite you to their ROM parties.
- When you are 24 - 30, your friends call to invite you to their wedding dinners.
- When you are 30 - 35, your friends call to invite you to their child's 1st mth party.
and then it goes on...
Scary it may seem but everyone has to go through this growing up phase. The 'I feel old' feeling is emerging from every corner of the mind. I used to have this dream - to get married young and have a baby by the age of 26.. Now, I'm going 26 but no sight of a ring around my fourth finger of my left hand. I used to feel pressured, looking at my peers getting married one by one but the feeling disappeared for a while.. Now, it seemed to be getting to me again..
Is something wrong with me? Hhmmm... I do wanna get married and have a happy family but maybe we are just not ready yet. Or is there something else that is not right? To me, I've still got my career to concentrate on. Yet to find a job which makes me say, "Oh yes! I'm gonna stay here for the rest of my life!" Don't know about him but I need plans to steer where we are going. Only time will reveal our plans...
!~ A New Life Added ~!
Most of my friends are married but where are the kids?? Juz got back from visiting a secondary school friend who gave birth this morning.. She's the second that gave birth from the whole lot of my friends who got married.. A new life is added to the current population..
As I look at the little one yawning, opening and closing his eyes, it suddenly hit me that it is soooo amazing how a new life is formed and brought to earth. So so interesting.. How is my friend feeling now, after 9 months of having a big tummy? A sense of achievement? A sense of fulfillment? I really don't know man.. But it's just so amazing how this little one can grow in a confined area for 9 months..
Having a kid around really does make your life interesting as well as fun! The things they do.. The things they say! My kids are the oldest in school but still give me the best laughs too! Welcome, little one to planet Earth. You're in Singapore! Get ready for some action! Hahaha!!

There's a hunter who wanted to take down King Kong so he went to get the latest technology guns in the world and tried to shoot at King Kong. BUT, King Kong's reflexes were too FAST!! It caught all the bullets that the guns fired and alas, the hunter had a knife left. He threw it at King Kong and as you expected, King Kong caught the knife! However, King Kong died. WHY???

- when king kong caught the knife, he was so happy that he thumps the chest WITH the knife in his hands and ended up stabbing himself!!! Hahahahaha!!!!
