eventful weekend

last saturday morning was pretty much e same - hitting e snooze button, jumping outta bed (realizing i was late for work), showered, hopped on a cab n off to work.. o, lunch time was spent with bayi at lido: sitting in front of e big screen, enjoying our subway.. after e quick lunchie, bayi proceeded to the 3rd floor to have a swing at the clubs while i headed back to another hour's work..

4pm came and off i go, to meet bayi for a short visit to the novena church (we always go there if we have lunch at novena) to say thanks as well as say a short prayer.. that saturday, the church were filled with people! we juz stood outside, prayed and went off.. probably another day, we'll join e service..

shopping it was for e both of us at novena square but we didn't get anything, simply 'coz we were heading to e indoor stadium.. yea! for a concert.. to be more detailed, we went for the QI QIN (i didn't quite know he existed till bayi asked me to go with her) concert! we took a bus there as we were rather early for the 8pm concert..

upon entering e stadium, we decided to grab a bite.. $6 for a hotdog / sandwich / burger.. OMG! so expensive!!! nevertheless, we bought a hamburger n sandwich to ease our hunger.. we went in like 730pm and waited till about 830pm when alas, QI QIN came out and said hello and on with his show.. in e beginning, e audience was rather reserved in screaming and being participative (eg.swaying of hands) until he e man, prompted e audience to do so.. it's pretty true when they said singaporeans are rather reserved human beings.. hahaha! o, his sister, QI YU was the guest for the nite and she did a few of her songs.. wow! her voice totally knocked me out.. actually, both their voices were quite powerful and i must say, their songs are pretty nice.. i did manage to snap a bit of pictures.. heehee!

e concert lasted till 11pm but i had to run as ju & jazz came to pick me up for nite skating.. poor bayi had to walk herself to kfc to meet her hubz.. SORRY BAYI! i really didn't know ju came to pick me up and i was running SO LATE!! sorry sorry! i still love u!

off to ecp we go, we skated up to bedok jetty where ms tanoko took off her skates 'coz of a blister and decided to walk back as it was juz too painful to skate (she bought new skates..) with that, e other 3 of us took off our skates (i took off mine 'coz my left ankle was juz hurting too much due to an old injury) while jazz kept on strolling on hers and dino dashing back to drive her car to pick us up. hahaha! nite skating ended with a recollection of e ol times at mac..

sunday wasn't much happening but it was my first go at accupuncture.. wa! it felt like an ant bite but e 5mins of leaving the needles poked in my skin was juz so uncomfortable. why did i choose accupuncture? 'coz she said it was the FASTEST way to heal and i so wanna skate and play hockey, esp now that ju & jazz have their equipment! ggrrrrrrrr.. but ms sinseh say NO for now.. so i'll juz have to be a good ger n keep my ass to e chair instead of running around..

i then limped my way to tampines to have dinner with my god-ma and her frenz b4 ryan came to pick me up for kopi @ holland v with ju. it was such a sight walking down holland v, with my left ankle and his left index finger wrapped up.. hahaha! 2 injured buggers going for kopi at coffee club (my current hangout).. kekeke!

ryan left not long to meet his mates for another kopi session while ben (my 38 hairstylist) took over him to entertain us until 12mn.. hahaha! there was this indian server who was so interested in our 2 male frenz! first, asked ryan about his age and e type of perfume he's wearing and then attacked ben with the same questions as well.. o o.. hahaha..

it was a nice closure to e whole week as well as a beginning to a brand new week with loads to do! :)
