i SURVIVED one week at work! *pats on e back* it was a busy busy week for me.. meetings, meetings and MORE meetings.. one meeting ended like 1035pm.. gosh! and that was only my 2nd day of work! goodness.. wait, i ain't complaining.. i'm juz whining, ok.. there's a big difference! keke!
anyhows, working in an office is pretty interesting.. hahaha! reminds me of devil wears prada! muz be glam glam! kekeke! but luckily, my office dun have those 'dress to kill chick' which might juz make others feel like a pasar malam model.. *phew*
1st day of work, my fellow cohort-mate and i had a mini orientation on e working culture of our office.. doesn't sound too bad except for the army-like protocol that they have.. a sign-in & out book to 'catch' latecomers.. a standard lunch hour from 1pm - 2pm which even if u go at 145pm, pls get yr arse back to yer seat by 2pm.. then again, u can always try and explain your situation to e higher authorities for them to approve an extended lunch hour..
i was introduced to my desk! yes yes! my desk! my OWN desk! keke! so happy! i shall take a photo to show how pretty my desk is or rather, going to be! hahaha!! daniel's nicely drawn flower was my first decoration! kekeke! luckily i'm given a lappie 'coz it gives me more space to put my barang barangs! muz go shop for things to decorate my cubicle.. *snigger* (another reason to go shopping!)
o! my lappie! makes me remind of my 1st and loyal Fujitsu (or Fark-jit-su, as my dear uncle ed loves to call) S Series.. using the lappie brings memories.. kekeke.. it juz kinda kicked me that i shouldn't have let my Fujitsu baby leave me juz like that.. sigh.. R.I.P, Jajabinks!
come tuesday, my schedule for the week has been nicely plonked with meetings.. was like a culture shock for me.. my previous job can literally sit there and MSN e whole day! this one here, can still MSN but not on such a high frequency as before.. but i'm loving my new job! i love my portfolio but that will mean i most probably have to stop holding that stick and act like a chimney. we shall see about that though.. *moves issue to K.I.V tray*
o o! colleagues are lovely! very friendly actually! kekeke! they are very helpful too! o, of all e many people in e office, there's juz ONE cute guy (or rather, can SEE guy).. sigh.. what's e world coming to?! erm bb, no worries.. ur still in my heart hor! me juz see see look look only.. mean no harm one.. *hugs*
k la.. i guess it's enough said about my new working environment.. it's juz gonna be a busy schedule for me as events are popping up and help is needed for my fellow colleagues.. yeah yeah! can't wait to be totally immersed in e job.. eh, since now u know that my schedule's gonna be more packed than before (some of u know how crazy my life is), pls don't be pissed if i can't meet u or cancel our appointment 'coz sure got last minute bombs flying towards me one..
reminder: those staying near me or in e district that i m in charge of, i'll b calling u! hahaha! muz support my event la.. kekeke.. *wink* ms shareen, ur at e top of my list WOR!!!!
