krabi trip

1st nite @ 30 november 2006
we reached there at abt 630pm or so.. checked in.. went to check out e area and decided to have a seafood dinner as bb n i had cravings for them.. eden was e place for our first dinner.. our meals weren't quite thai except for bb's tom yam soup (something he needs to have to feel he's in thailand.. hahaha!). i'm nt e adventurous type with food n for e fact that i dun take spicy food, i didn't touch any thai food..

after dinner, we had a little walk down e lane of ao nang.. duplicates of shops lined e street.. every single shop is selling e same thing, only difference is e price.. we went shop after shop to check out e price of a 10L dry bag (meant for diving) and i, being singaporean, showed my powerful bargaining powers.. kekeke! their things were pretty ex n bb figured that it's coz of e MANY europeans visiting and to e locals, e europeans have cash to spare n thus e price hike.. well, since it's our first nite, we weren't in a hurry to buy anything then.. but we booked 2 outings! 1 was a full day trip to e different islands n e other, a horse riding lesson..

2nd day @ 1 december 2006
e day started with a BIG bobo! we were picked up wrongly by e 'tour guide' and led on to e boat that was meant for an island, 40 mins away from ao nang beach.. halfway thru e boatride, did they realize that we were wrongly picked up and so a u-turn was made to return us to e rightful owners.. we hopped on e right boat and then headed to an island as e kayak 'coach' went to fetch our kayaks..

it was a half day kayaking around e different islands.. i was enjoying e scenery s bb said he'll row.. kekeke.. lunch was taken on one of e islands and it was there, that i got poked by e ediotic sea urchin.. o ya! e water level is so shallow that it's at e midpoint of your shin even though you're 200m away fr shore.. now, u muz wonder why then did i get 'kissed' by e black pricky thingie.. let's juz put it that i was suey.. funny thing was, i was imagining how it'll feel if i got 'kissed' by them! ggrrrrr.. buy 4D also nt so zhun la.. but then again, i noe how it feels.. it's SUPER DUPER painful!!!!

after kayaking, we went snorkelling.. i went in for a while but visibility was POOR so i decided to rest my leggie.. at abt 4pm, we headed back to our hotels.. gosh, it was tiring to be under e sun for e whole day! i was so beat that i had no mood to walk e streets nor go for e massage / hair braiding / manicure that we had planned.. it was fill our tum tums (seafood dinner again!) n off to bed!

3rd day @ 2 december 2006
bb's bday! we wanted to head to e pool for suntanning but then, it was already flooded with other residents.. so, owells.. we nuaz in e room till it was lunch time.. this time we had italian.. i had wanted to try that american burgers n shakes joint but it wasn't ready n we were in a rush.. so, i had this chicken breast meat thingie that was so damn salty! bb had pizza but it was so huge that we had to ta bao back.. kekeke! tum jiak bb! o! there was something interesting abt their knives.. take a look..

ok ok, lunch is done n we were tuk tuked to e horse riding farm.. wa piangs.. i realized i ain't that brave lor.. i was abit nervous when i had to lead e horse from its stable to e enclosed training area. i was so afraid that its hooves will stamp on me feet! anyways, i managed to muster up enough courage to hoist myself up to my horsie.. we were taught how to hold e rein, ways to be friends with our horses and simple gestures to direct e horse. bb did wonderful 'coz he was comfortable enough to independently ride e horsie after only one round of being led.. me? i went thru few rounds b4 i was comfortable enough to hold e reins myself.. it was SCARY lor 'coz e turf was uneven.. i felt i was sitting on a rather tame rodeo.. kekeke! anytime, will be flung away if i wasn't concentrating.. over at e other side, bb was learning how to trot.. wow, professional wor..

after e enclosed gor-gor-peh was done, we were given e opportunity to go to e beach with e horseis.. woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!! how nice.. it was indeeeeeeeeeeed beautiful scenery.. simply breath-taking and relaxing.. gosh.. juz like in e movies.. awwwwwwww..

an hour passed and back to ao nang, we went.. we did our shopping, i braided my hair, both of us had our manicure, pedicure & massage.. wa liews.. e thai massage was GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! kekeke.. as it was our last nite, we decided to pamper ourselves and order room service so that we can nua before packing our stuff for our next morning's flight.. BUT! we were late by half hour.. tmd.. so, bb went out to ta bao my burger n fries (craving for that nite) and some streetside hawker food.. pack, pack, pack n turned in for an early nite..

4th day @ 3 december 2006
it's back to sg we go.. aiyoz, we woke up late but luckily our mini-bus waited for us.. kekeke! it was back to commercialized singapore and also e start of a sad ending.. i didn't want it to be at that point of time but i guess he couldn't take it anymore.. sorry 4 e coldness n e lack of fun factor throughout e trip.. it wasn't what i planned for ur bday.. sorry..
