1st dragonboat training

ranger n i went down to kallang sea sports club to have a go at PASSC DB's training.. ranger juz finished his training with his ex-team n came over to join me.. heehee~ we were spilted up coz he's pro while i'm a noob..

i was afraid that i couldn't do e physical training but i did (though my body is aching like crazy now)!!! the static training was to do 10 sets of 10push-ups, superman n crunches, broken down into 4-3-3.. after e 1st round of sets, we had to do a 1.something run n then continue on the 2nd round of sets n so forth.. heading 4 e 1st run, i informed e womens team ic dat my knee ain't doing quite good but i'll try to run n surprisingly, she paced with me.. so touched! i thought i was gonna b e last one alone.. heehee~

o, we didn't managed to complete e last run coz it was time to row! YEAH!!!! e moment i've been waiting for.. we did dis triangle thing - fr clubhouse to benjamin sheares bridge to cosy bay.. it was non-stop rowing, w e occasion hard 10.. i was punctured during e way to cosy bay.. wa piangs.. arms were like aching.. halfway e rowing, it poured!!!! HEAVILY!!! i was drenched! gosh.. 1st training n i'm drenched.. their theory is, no lightning - training continues..

we took a break n had something to eat b4 heading out in e rain again.. this time, e rowing time was shorter as it was near closing time.. we had a frenly match this time but it was a rather unfair one coz our boat had 19 rowers while theirs only had 14 or so.. kekeke.. o o, e captain even said i'm pretty good n asked who my coach was.. hahaha!! e captain was surprised.. heehee~ i'm good! hahaha!!! but it's all thanks to henry!!!! he taught us e stroking n blah blah blah.. ("ok everyone, turn around.. *silence, tries 2 explain something* eh, nevermind.. u guys row first.."

e team was v welcoming n warm.. teaching me stuff n provided all e encouragement dat i needed.. my body is aching now but i'm heading back to training on every sat!!! haha! o o, e girls even have gym sessions on wednesdays.. hahaha!!! yeah yeah, i'm gonna SLIM down.. finally, a routine for me to go back to e olden days.. hiak hiak.. but then e timings of both trainings clash w inline trainings.. die.. muz make a decision!!!

inline or dragonboat or both?
(ranger, i know i know.. concentrate on ONE.. ;p)
