drenched.abandoned.pissed
for e first time, i forced myself to wake up n head to e bathroom so that i can grab a bus instead of cabbing to work.. it's been raining since last nite n i was thinking to myself, 'e grass will b wet n puddly, b a good ger n use e pedestrian crossing'.. n so, while waiting for that darn green man to light up n thinking if i'll get splashed by passing vehicles, this mitsubishi mpv drove past me and presented me a shower of rain water on e back of my right.. @#$%^!!!!!
i couldn't believe it.. i seemed to be able to tell e future.. goodness.. 1 minute i'm thinking of it, e other minute, i get it.. great.. juz great.. as i wasn't totally drenched, i continued my journey to e bus-stop n i saw 963 coming! i ran! in my heels, praying that i won't fall n b a super girl! in front of me was a guy who ran after e 963 too.. while he was at the entrance of the bus, i was running past e exit door of the bus thus i think e bus driver obviously saw me.. i took quick steps to the front n when i reached e entrance, e door slam shut n drove off.. @#$%^!!!!!
WTF!!!! i woke up early to avoid taking a cab in such a downpour n this was how i'm being treated!!!! great! juz great! n dis stoopid 963's frequency is damn LOW, which means i've to wait like 15mins for e next one.. from being early to being late for work.. i couldn't take dis shit early in e morning.. i calmed myself down n psychoed myself to wait for the next bus, which took 25mins to come!!! during dis 25mins, i was sooooooooooooooooo tempted to stretch out my left hand n hop into a either blue, yellow, black, green or whatever colour cab and say, 'woodlands civic centre'!!!!!!
i controlled!!!!!!!!!!!!! no cab! coz he say NO n also bcoz he made e effort to wake up on purpose to give me e morning call so that i can save $ n bus to work.. i even rejected eileen's bcoz-of-rain-we-should- cab attempt.. in e end, my perseverance took me to work at 845am.. luckily, e management wasn't ard as they were at somewhere dunno doing whatever..
for e first time in my 27 years of life, i was splashed with rainwater.. wat an experience.. like what he said, PRICELESS!!! tmd.. fortunately, e rest of e day was not too bad.. but e wet experience left me totally mood-less & energy-less to work..
m home now @ dis current moment but gonna head out soon for 'dry swimming', e perfect sport to do when it's pouring outside.. after e session, will b heading to yishun for a midnite movie w da niu, e stupid npnt (dunno wat it means fella)..
