YP camp!

i'm backie!! i survived e 2D1N yp camp @ sarimbun scout camp!! e programme was packed lo!! here was wat happened:

8.30am
baby sent me to sarimbun camp.. saw my ex yp comrade, ginny.. registered & collected my yp tee.. went to check out e dorm.. (heng ar, ginny n i r in e same dorm!) while we were @ e dorm, we spotted something at the ceiling..

my dorm mates n i were figuring hw it ended up this way.. n i concluded that it could b it suffered fr a stroke halfway his journey to somewhere n got stuck this way..

i wonder hw long it has been there.. hhmmmm..

9.30am
it was time for ice breaker games.. we were formed into teams of about 10 to 15 peeps and had e usual games - grab a certain no. of pple to form something upon e call out of a command.. ginny n i were like e last few of our team to b booted out of e game.. kekeke~

after that, we got introduced to each member of e team n thought of a team name - S13! haha! e S was coz our trainer's name began w S n 13 meant e no of members in our team! we went on to find e 5 items that we needed to make our team flag..

11.30am
lunch time!

12.30pm
e arrival of yp chairman (aka my idol) dr vivian!! heeheehee~

he declared e camp open n had a short q&a session w him where he shared with us his experiences.. it was rather interesting but then e z monster was eating into me.. i struggled to keep my eyes open during e session..

2.00pm
it was more ice breaker games - e human seesaw, e loop travel..

3.30pm
tea break!

4.00pm
it was another lecture session by two comrades..

6.30pm
dinner time!

7.30pm
nite hike! gosh.. all of us had to go through this nite hike thing.. e guys had to do it on their own while e gers did it in pairs.. ginny n i paired up to do this hike.. it was rather scary coz vision was nt clear.. n all ard us, were thick vegetation.. i had this fear of things jumping out n scare us.. but luckily, nothing of that happened.. we juz had muddy shoes n pants at e end of e hike.. =)

so proud of meself!

10.00pm
shower time! finally! we were stinko like nobody's business! entering e toilet, there were giant moths flying ard, fat lizards on e ceilings n big beetles crawling on e floor.. kaoz! it was a challenge to stay calm n bathe! anyhows, we juz hurried thru our bathe n zoomed out of e toilet.. PHEW!

10.30pm
it was otot! ginny n i juz lay on our beds and caught up on each other's lives as we haven't seen each other for years!! kekeke~

SECOND DAY

7.00am
breakfast!

8.00am
it was time for us to try our hands on e various elements - flying fox, challenge pole, horizontal balance and all e funny funny balance stuff (somewhat like obs)..

for our team, it was e challenge pole first.. e objective was for 2 peeps to climb up to this 2 or 2.5 storey , nt so stable pole which seemed to only have a diameter of 25cm, balance on this see-saw like thingie n jump together to reach the trapeze..

ginny n i were e first pair of gers to go up there.. ginny climbed up first.. then it was my turn.. when we were @ e top, ginny was already freaking out.. she didn't wan to stablise on the see-saw platform n jump off.. she didn't liked the after-effects of jumping off - e feeling of being tugged by e belayers.. so ginny climbed down while i was up there.. i swear it was damn scary coz it was so daunting to balance myself on e see-saw so high up! smhw, i managed to balance but before i can prepare myself to jump, i slipped.. TMD! waste my effort..

nex up, was e flying fox.. hee~ that was fun! but e scary bit was e climbing up e 3 storey structure coz it was all bare.. u could see thru when u climb.. kaoz! i reached e top n one of my team mates, was getting ready to fly dwn.. but he was quite weary of taking e first step.. after few minutes, he gave up n climbed dwn to safety.. then it was my turn.. could understand hw that guy felt when u standing at e platform, ready to sail dwn.. kaoz.. i was paranoid that my hands will slip! hahaha! but heck la, i juz zoomed dwn n enjoyed e journey! hahaha!

e rest of e elements, i didn't try coz i was way tired n my hands were way, way painful.. so ginny n i juz sat at e corner n cheered our team-mates..

12.30pm
lunch time & shower!

this time round, we went to this open shower as there were too many peeps at e toilet..

when u enter this place, e shower heads were gathered in the middle w some well-like thing.. when u look up, ur viewing e sky directly.. hahahaha! as we were e only two ladies there n were paranoid abt pple barging in e toilet - even though we locked it, u noe sometimes u juz can't trust e lock at these places.. so again, both of us rushed through our bath! for e first time in my life, i can actually bathe in under 2 mins! that was my guiness record! hahahaha!

we had to pack our rooms n rush through lunch as our nex talk is at 1.30pm..

viewing of video that took shots of us throughout our stay.. received our certificates from dr vivian! oh.. he told me to take care! hahahahaha! after that, it was a group photo!!!! (dr vivian was standing beside me!) hahahahahaha!

6.15pm
home sweeeeeet home!!! baby n bibi came to pick me up! kekeke!

it was such a nice feeling to know that i survived e camp but then again, kinda sad coz i really had fun throughout e camp! mayb bcoz of e company as well.. i've also learnt plenty of things abt yp too n i guess it's time for me to do something for me branch.. =)
