Went to e prawning pond over at Jurong Bird Park last nite with Mr Kuai Lan! Haha!!! Decided to have a go at prawning since that day I had a little try when Marcel and guys were at ECP's..
We went there like 3am... Chose our rods, got our baits and settled for a pond.. After 1 hour of staring at the float bopping up and down in the pond, we decided to boycott that pond and crossed over to the one on our right.. Over at the 'new' pond, within minutes I felt a bite!!! Woohoo!!!! The rod was like bending in a very scary manner!!! Thought the rod might break!!! I tugged!!! And a hell of a BIG PRAWN came out!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
That's the BIG PRAWN I caught!!! Haha!!! As you can see, I was a little scared 'coz it has PINCERS lorrrrrrrrrrrrrr... Don't think it'll be any fun if I get pinched by that scary shit lor...
Anyway, after 3 hours... We caught a pathetic amount of 5 prawns... (1 was a compliment from the uncle working there, 3 by me and 1 by Mr Kuai Lan... HAHAHA!!!!) There was a bbq pit there so we could bbq those prawns and uncle recommended pouring salt over the prawns to make it taste nicer... Haha!!! So much fun except the presence of mice of all sizes!!!! Eeeewwwww!!! Freaked me out big time when I wanted to go to the toilet... Luckily, Mr Kuai Lan accompanied me there if not I'll probably faint there lor...
It was such an experience... 2 ediots, who don't know the technique of prawning attempting to catch prawns!!! Such a comical sight... Luckily when we were bbq-ing our haul, nobody else were there lor... So, nobody to laugh at our pathetic numbers... Haha!!!
After our feast of 5 prawns, we headed to Al-Azhar again to attempt to attack the cheese mushroom prata and this time, we got it!!!! Mr Kuai Lan said it's yummy worrrrrrrrrr... Haha!!! Kakaka!!! Seeeee!!! West side is the best!!!! With satisfaction in our tummies, we headed home at 8am+ to catch up on our lost sleeeeeeeeep...
