staff retreat @ sentosa (22 dec 06)

woke up at 615am s david was coming to pick me up at 0710 hrs.. in e end, he came at 0805 hrs.. *fainted* i was braving e strong cold wind for nearly an hour.. we (lisa, eileen n myself) were panicking! we can't b late! mayor's gonna b there at 0900hrs!

anyhows, we managed to get there like 0845hrs BUT david bumped his car s e carpark was horribly designed! kaoz.. e place was siloso beach resort.. not too bad concept actually but it wasn't really done up yet..

presentation was done n orange team was leading, followed by mine (red) and white team. thank god there's luke! he did up e whole presentation!!! goodness me! feel bad 'coz i'm e team leader n he's supposed to just coordinate e whole thing.. THANKS LUKEY!!! owe u big time!

n then we had a talk.. blah blah blah.. here comes e more interesting part! we went for e chairlift to have a go at luge! wahahahaha! e chairlift is rather scary.. e safety barrier can be easily lifted up (my gm was playing with it lor).. and there wasn't any footrest! (i was so afraid my slippers will juz drop into e woods beneath us!)

itinerary was to visit images of singapore upon reaching e top.. pretty interesting walk though, about singapore in e different centuries.. there was a part where i got shocked by 2 fellas (who were standing like statues!). tmd.. crystal n i gave a little scream.. kekeke.. not too far behind, was my gm.. we decided to let e 'statues' scare him too! hahaha! true enough, my gm went to e sitting 'statue' n gave a pat while saying, "this looks real!" and with that, the 'statue' moved towards him! my gm JUMPED back! hahaha!! e sight was soooooooooooooooo FUNNY!!! oops.. i'll try not to tell anyone else in e office.. *zips*

games was next n it was nice seeing everyone enjoying themselves! even eileen, who was so lethargic at e thought of running ard, trying to catch e ball n throwing it to another team mate! even mayor took part in e games! e white team came in tops while e red n orange teams fought it out at a sudden death with orange taking e 2nd placing and red, 3rd place.. DAMN! a mental game (thought by our gm) was next and it took them less than 5mins to complete it! gosh!

washed up n went to e rooftop garden for dinner.. beautiful sight.. wonderful ambience.. perfect combination and ending to e night.. good job, eva!
