a.different.weekend

on e fri:
2gether w my baby, we met up w pui pui, derek n ying for dinner @ kenny rogers (suntec).. o my.. they renovated.. no more e nostalgic-ness.. no more those ol' skool cafeteria feel.. now, it's all lighted up n decorated w books - giving that home feeling? i dunno.. juz dun feel kenny rogers anymore..

anyhows, we (me, baby, derek, ying) headed to marina sq to catch a glimpse of e fireworks display by spain.. o, did i mention that it was a 45mins ride fr my place to suntec?! gosh! e traffic was tmd BAD! hahaha! even w our little green sheep, it took 45mins!!! ok, back to e fireworks story.. it was packed as expected n pple were shoving n pushing their way in front (not sure y when fireworks are up in e sky)..

at abt 920pm, e dark sky was sparkled w the fireworks! boom boom BOOM! so beautiful.. there were fireworks in e shape of a planet, some zoomed after e boom! really really nice affair, to be watched with your loved ones.. however, baby was bz recording e moments while i was trying to get some shots on my new phone.. derek n ying? they were juz enjoying e moments with each other's company.. =)

on e sat:
it was lazy sat.. nua-ed at home till abt 5+ which we headed towards e east for dinner b4 catching e fireworks display by china..

we reached bedok, baby's hometown.. at bedok, if u dun go 85, it's such a waste!!! heh heh~ n so we went feasting! hahaha! ba chor mee.. chicken wing.. otay.. ah balling peanut soup.. satay bee hoon.. topped w sugar cane juice! woah.. *burp* simply SHIOK lor.. this is wat i call, LIFE!

n so after both of us gorged ourselves w all those sinful stuff, we hopped on our poor little sheep, going towards suntec to park at a nice spot to catch e nite display of lights again.. reaching rochor, we nearly fainted.. traffic jam!!!! gosh! singaporeans! say no $$, yet so many cars on e roads.. ggrrrrrr!!!

seeing e cars, we got fed up n headed to the roads where less cars travelled.. n that brought us to.. hougang!! heehee~ we decided to go to e pet shop there n look at e chow chows.. o my! they look like LIONS w their puffed up fur which resembled e mane of a lion.. eh, dun look at their duh duh eyes k? they bite! they r v protective of their owners n may overpower u if u smell like a rat to them..

luckily we went down to take a look at e chow chows n learnt more abt them.. if not, we'd haf bought one n it might prob bully bibi! anyhows, baby bought some snack for bibi b4 we head back home.. n since it was so early, i suggested to zoom to toa payoh for a walk.. n baby did juz that!

hahaha! i juz needed to do some shopping n buy some stuff.. hahaha.. so we walked thru e heartland shops n bought this n that.. shops were starting to pack up n we decided to head home after buying bubble tea n 'gao luck'.. b4 we start our journey, baby suggested enjoying e 'gao luck' n started to pluck one.. *faint* n he literally did that during e way back.. even plucked a few n gave it to me.. hahaha.. so fun! something i've never done b4.. kekeke..

thanks baby! i know u wanted to make me happy by accompanying me and going to places.. *muacks*
